Mesothelioma Suit Filed by Son

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

A man living in Minnesota recently filed a mesothelioma suit on behalf of his father who died from the asbestos related illness.

The suit was filed against 10 corporations believed to be at fault for exposing their employees to the harmful substance.

Suit Claims Workplace Exposure

Bruno Zagar filed the suit against the defendants for his father Anthony who died in 2004 from mesothelioma.

The suit states that during Anthony’s employment with the companies, where he performed home and automotive repairs, he was exposed to and absorbed asbestos from the products he worked with and around.

“The plaintiff’s exposure and inhalation, ingestion or absorption of the asbestos fibers contained in their products had a toxic, poisonous and highly deleterious effect upon the health of people,” says the suit.

Corporations Accused

Zagar claims that the defendants knew or should have known that the products they were allowing their employees to work with contained asbestos.

The suit blames the corporations for failing to advise and warn their workers of the potential harm they could be caused by handling the asbestos.

Zagar also says that before his death, his father suffered great physical pain and mental anguish due to his illness.
